  • A body's found on the shore of a lake. Police Chief Jesse Stone starts an investigation. It turns out to be a pregnant high school student. There's also a case of a persistent wife beater. Jesse starts seeing a shrink and dating.
  • When the body of a fourteen-year-old teenager is found in the margin of a lake in Paradise, Massachusetts, the Chief of Police Jesse Stone and his officer Simpson seek clues in the spot. Through a class ring of a student that they find near the corpse, they identity the dead girl, the local slut Billy Bishop. Meanwhile, his department deals with a domestic violent situation with an aggressive and abusive husband who beats his wife. Along his investigation, Stone discloses that the famous writer Norman Shaw was too much close to the victim and intended to write the biography of the famous gangster Leo in his next book. Joining the pieces of evidences like a puzzle, Stone unravels the identity of the criminal.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Chief Jesse Stone and his deputy Luther 'Suit(case)' Simpson' painstakingly identify the badly decayed corpse of a fourteen-year-old teen girl, found in a lake in Paradise, Massuchusettes, by the frat ring of straight-A college sports hero Hooker Royce as Billie Bishop, an ex he dated during a break with his real lover, as act of pity for the former A-student who became a junkie 'school slut' breaking up with her parents after abuse. The family was among the beneficiaries of bestseller author Norman Shaw's annual benefit, where more abuse victims were selected, but he also has a complex link with 'white collar' crime baron Leo Finn and his killer-bodyguard Lovey Norris. Stone once more transgresses all rules to lean on a domestic abuse suspect: Jerry Snyder, who ends up resorting to a supermarket hostage taking, which Stone handles with Suit, but the latter gets shot, rendered comatose.—KGF Vissers
  • In this drama, Jesse Stone has settled into life as the police chief of the small New England town of Paradise, Massachusetts when the body of a teenage girl is found floating in a local lake. Stone discovers that the once straight-A student had started down a path of self-destruction and was estranged from her parents, who never reported her missing. With little to go on, the investigation takes Stone to the city where he rubs the Boston mob the wrong way. As he tries to focus on finding out what happened to the girl, Stone must also deal with a case of domestic violence that ultimately turns deadly. But as the investigation into the teen's death unfolds and he learns more and more about the girl's unhappy past, Stone finds himself slowly becoming obsessed with the case and is steadfastly determined to bring the girl's killer to justice.—CBS site
  • Small-town police chief and struggling alcoholic Jesse Stone looks into the murder of a teenage girl whose body is found floating in a local lake. The case brings the former LAPD cop up against the Boston mob and into the affluent world of a bestselling writer who exploits troubled teens.—Anonymous
