Doc's line: "You might want to take notes on this one.", would later be re-used in the flashback scene in Cars 3 (2017).
In the game files, there's a picture of Stanley in full color. This implies that Stanley was going to be a playable character in the game and be a competitor in a flashback race. This concept was never realized due to time constraints.
