This original cut of this film was shot over a weekend in the year 2000 and quickly edited in order to enter it into a film contest. Although it lost, four years later new scenes were shot to enhance the film. This included adding new actors including Abby Wathen, Nella Vinci, Sandra Elizabeth Rodriguez and Sylvia Kovacs who all gave memorable performances.
The first day of shooting it was below zero. The cast had to film outside in the woods in the icy cold air for more most of the day.
