Firing Range (1977)

Trivia

Firing Range

Edit
Characters' faces transferred unprecedented detail and resemble foreign actors Jean Gabin, Paul Newman, Mel Ferrer, Yul Brynner and singer Ringo Starr.
The authors did not mention on which country is working inventor. However, in one of the fragments it shows that the scientist's son died in the colonialist war in Africa (allusion to the Algerian war, which unleashed France).
In the original, the inventor was killed when he raised his head to check whether he had sailed far enough from the island.
In the credits, the authors of the music are not indicated. The melody of the song used in the film is "Tanha Shodam" (1972) by the Afghan composer and singer Ahmad Zahir in the arrangement and performance of Paul Moriah (more popular under the name "El Bimbo").
In the original, the inventor had two sons.
