Jacob Faust, the star of the film, really was a funeral director for 3 years. His memorial service was held in the Little Chapel of Roses at Glen Abbey Mortuary, the very place where Jacob directed services himself.

A Dark & Beautiful Beauty of Exploration

Have seen this so many times I feel I am part of the movie. Having said that, it absolutely is in my top 3 movies of all time. Its unique edge is so surreal yet believable that its hard not to wish there was a sequel. The tragic passing of the film's star only cements the legacy of this masterpiece. Highly recommended for those who like the darker side of life and accept that in such, there can still be joy and peace.
