Legend of the Seeker (2008)

Trivia

Legend of the Seeker

Edit
The show was cancelled because the Tribune Company that produced and distributed the series went into bankruptcy. The studio was unable to find another network to pick up the show before the cast and crew had to be released from their contracts. From 2010-2017, fans of the show led a campaign to renew the series for a third season. Unfortunately, they failed.
Bridget Regan had her hair chemically straightened and dyed brown for the role of Kahlan. She is naturally a redhead.
Craig Horner and Bridget Regan underwent six weeks of horse riding and stunt training before shooting began.
Originally named "Wizard's First Rule" (after the first book in "The Sword of Truth" series), the show was retitled "Legend of the Seeker" at Terry Goodkind's suggestion, since the producers wanted to differentiate the show from the books, and because this would allow them the opportunity to cover the story within all the books in the series.
The site Saveourseeker.com was active and tried to get the show to continue or get a movie made by Sam Raimi. However, as of 2017 the site is no longer active.
