Heading into an international break, Newcastle United vs Arsenal takes on an added importance due to the fact that the Magpies are yet to win a Barclays Premier League game yet this season, while the Gunners’ title challenge looks in danger of faltering already.

After securing a first win as Newcastle boss in the Capital One Cup Second Round against Northampton Town on Tuesday night, now Steve McClaren is looking for his opening Barclays Premier League victory. So far this season, Newcastle have drawn 2-2 at home to Southampton, been soundly beaten 2-0 away at Swansea City, and earned a hard-fought point via a goalless draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

Thierry Henry has labelled John Carver’s 2015 Newcastle United side “one of the worst teams” he’s ever seen in the Barclays Premier League – and admits he is enthused by the changes Steve McClaren is implementing at the Magpies.

Carver won just three games as Newcastle boss throughout the entirety of the second-half of the 2014-15 campaign, and the Magpies picked up three points only once on the road under his tutelage.

Describing the Magpies’ away performances as “shocking” in 2015, Henry insists that McClaren’s Newcastle are far removed from the Carver edition – and that their performance in the 0-0 draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United on Saturday was “good”.

Rob Lee believes some players have “struggled to adapt to the pace of life” in the Barclays Premier League due to the short intervals between fixtures – but insists Newcastle United squad must get used to that if they want to end the club’s 47-year trophy drought.

Steve McClaren and Lee Charnley may have watched on as Ivan Toney made his Newcastle United Under-21s’ home debut – but it was reserve-team coach Peter Beardsley who appeared most impressed by the youngster.

The former Magpies forward started Toney up front in the Under-21s’ 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers at Whitley Park on Monday evening and, although the striker didn’t score, he showed flashes of promise.

After the top three girls — Angie Miller, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison — sang their hearts out on the May 8 episode, one talented girl was voted off the show on May 9. Do you agree with the results, HollywoodLifers?

First the girls sang Selena Gomez’s “Who Says” with a minor technical difficulty in the beginning.

The girls wanted to give back so they went to sing with the Lacha Jazz Choir.

We watched some highlights from last night before mentor Jimmy Iovine weighed in.

“In the beginning of the show, they all felt a little nervous.” Jimmy said Angie not playing the piano for “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” was a big mistake. Instead of having a big moment, she got a 9/10.

It’s that time of year again, folks – The BuzzFocus.com Spring Madness TV Tournament is back!

It’s the Ides of March – we’re no soothsayers here, but we know that Game of Thrones will look to defend its Spring Madness title. It won’t be easy however, with stalwarts like Dexter, The Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire gunning for the throne. And let’s not forget how White Collar had an impressive showing last year, taking its high stakes game all the way to the final. Newbies like Scandal, The Americans and Arrow will look to be the tournament’s dark horse, coming from nowhere for a shot at the crown and all the glory that comes with it.

Teams have been broken down into four regions. There will be five rounds of play with the Final matchup going down in tandem with the Ncaa Men’s Basketball Finals.

When does March Madness start? It’s a Thursday in mid-March, and you’re probably wondering where the Ncaa Men’s Basketball Tournament is. Don’t worry, you haven’t missed it. It’s just unusually late this year. The Tournament field of 68 teams is announced on Sunday, March 17, in a one-hour special on CBS beginning at 6pm Et.
