Stephen Amell starred as Oliver Queen a.k.a Green Arrow in the CW series Arrow. The show spawned the Arrowverse, including shows such as The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and more. It lasted only one season, but fans still mourn the demise of the sci-fi/western Firefly. As much as we love watching (and rewatching) the series, sometimes it's not enough.
Are you longing for a little more Captain Tight Pants? Want to see Zoe quietly kick some adversary's butt? Wishing you could revisit the Hero of Canton?
Well, we can't bring back Firefly -- oh, how we wish we could! -- but we can tell you where you can tune in to see the cast now.
If you can't get enough of the crew of the Serenity, read on to find out where you can see them now.
Ron Glass - Shepherd Derrial Book
Shepherd Book was the preacher with a cryptic past who boards the Serenity and befriends its crew. We loved Book's warmth and acceptance of his other crew members while still being able to hold onto his faith.

We’ve all made the “Cop Rock” jokes. The Steven Bochco musical drama, which premiered in fall 1990, was a big swing: marrying original music with procedural storytelling. It was a colossal flop that we still talk about three decades later, and a reminder that musicals are hard.
Music has been a part of the TV landscape going back to the 1950s and shows like “Your Hit Parade.” But few series have successfully integrated regular music performances into their storytelling: “The Monkees” and “The Partridge Family” worked in the 1960s and ’70s. “Fame” did it in the early ’80s. And then “Cop Rock” scared people off the concept.
The 1990s animation boom incorporated music in shows like “The Simpsons” and “Animaniacs.” But not until the 21st century did scripted series really figure out how to make musical numbers work as part of the narrative. “Flight of the Conchords” did it with satiric tracks,...

Every year, there seems to be one or two out-of-left-field nominations for a show that, while highly regarded critically, may not on many people’s Emmy radar. And NBC may have one of those dark-horse programs this year in the musical comedy/drama “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.”
NBC is no stranger to rallying ratings-challenged new series to Emmy glory. In 1981, debuting series “Hill Street Blues” finished 86th out of 97 shows on the air at that time, but through its quality and a diligent Emmy campaign, it not only earned a surprise nomination, but it won the Emmy as Best Drama Series. The very next year, “Cheers” ended its first season ranked 74th out of 77 shows, yet won the Emmy as the year’s Best Comedy Series.

“Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” premiered on NBC in February. It blends reality and fantasy as its title character (Jane Levy) finds herself able to read the thoughts of those around her in the form of musical numbers only she can see and hear. In that way it’s similar to other shows that blended real-world stories with fantasy sequences like the legal dramedies “Ally McBeal” and “Eli Stone,” and of course it’s also reminiscent of another series where characters sang familiar hits: “Glee.” But what do critics think of it?
As of this writing the series has a MetaCritic score of 68 based on 17 reviews counted thus far: 11 positive and 6 somewhat mixed, but none outright negative. On Rotten Tomatoes, which rates reviews simply as positive or negative, the series is 76% fresh based on 25 reviews, only 6 of which are categorized as negative. A very strange and welcome thing has happened this TV season: The broadcast networks are trying again.
You remember the broadcast networks, don’t you? They were mighty beasts that once dominated the earth, with impressive names like National Broadcasting Company or Columbia Broadcasting System (NBC or CBS to their friends). For more than 50 years, they were television, for all intents and purposes, representing everything good, bad, and in-between about the medium. More often than not, they opted for programming that would offend and/or confuse the fewest number of potential viewers.

Exclusive: Greg Berlanti is set to receive the Television Showman of the Year honor at the 56th annual Icg Publicists Guild Awards next month.
The question is: When will he have time to enjoy the award? This is the guy whose Greg Berlanti Productions has a cape-splitting 15 series on the air at the moment and at least one project with a big commitment at each of the five broadcast networks this season. And the CW just announced four pilot pickups tonight including one — Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene — that counts Berlanti among its EPs, as he is on the network’s previously announced Batwoman pilot.
“Greg Berlanti has produced a prodigious amount of quality television in the 21st century – almost 30 series, over 1,000 episodes, with many more in the pipeline,” Icg National President Steven Poster said. “This year, he set a new record with 15 current live-action scripted series. Over its past two seasons, Supergirl has welcomed various actors who’ve previously appeared in Superman or Supergirl related productions. Lois & Clark‘s Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher have both turned up, as has 1984’s Supergirl star Helen Slater. Another is Laura Vandervoort, who played Supergirl on Smallville. Now, one of Vandervoort’s co-stars on the show has landed a part on the upcoming third season of The CW DC series.
Erica Durance, most well known for starring as Lois Lane opposite Tom Welling’s Clark Kent on the Superman prequel, has landed the part of Kara Danver’s Kryptonian mother Alura. The character was previously played by Laura Benanti in a major recurring role across season 1 (plus a brief cameo in season 2). As Benanti proved unavailable this time around, the Supergirl team took the opportunity to bring on board another “legacy” actress.

The CW has doubled the amount of viewers coming to its website and app to stream series, three months after pulling those episodes off Hulu.
The CW president Mark Pedowitz told reporters Sunday at the Television Critics Association press tour that means advertising serves have more than doubled on Cwtv.com and its app – a big boon for the network, which obviously controls its digital ad sales.
The change happened earlier this year after The CW hammered out a new pact with Netflix that gives that service streaming rights to CW series eight days after those shows end their run on the network. Previously, Hulu had in-season rights to a rolling five episodes of CW shows. That in-season streaming access now exclusively resides on Cwtv.com and the network’s app, as well as affiliate station video on-demand offerings.
Pedowitz said the response has been “massive. We have not advertised.

You gotta have faith.
Okay, that's a motto that was more applicable to the George Michael loving Eli Stone, but Code Black Season 2 Episode 9 was trying really hard to work that message in. Really hard.
I'm not really sure why Noa needed faith to suck it up and reach out to her patient's widow, but whatever gets the job done, right? Although honestly, I'm also not sure she should have felt as much guilt as she did. Maybe I just have the romantic range of a teaspoon, but unless they'd had a fight, "Tell my wife I love her" isn't earth shattering or unexpected.
No, if Noa was going to feel guilty about anything it should have been about not going back out and completing her ride along. And even that's a stretch. Recognizing your limits is as important a skill as anything else in medicine.

As the titan behind the biggest comic book characters on TV, Greg Berlanti feels the burden. He grew up loving these superheroes – especially “The Flash” – and is now responsible for how a new generation consumes them.
But Berlanti also understands he’s also a caretaker for franchises that will continue to thrive no matter what – even after he moves on.
“These characters are incredible,” he told IndieWire. “They were great before us, and they’ll be great after us. They’ll continue to exist in television, in movies, in comic books and other places for decades and decades to come. It’s nice to play a small part in this particular moment, and show up every day to dream up scenarios that hopefully not only show the best of these characters but the best in ourselves.”

While the fourth season of Arrow proved to be highly divisive among fans, it’s probably safe to say that many will still want it to adorn their shelves. And for those who do, you’ll be glad to know that on August 30, you can bring home Oliver Queen’s latest adventures on either Blu-Ray or DVD.
Something that I found to be cool about this upcoming set is that it actually includes an episode of The Flash, so you can enjoy both parts of the mid-season crossover in case you elect to buy only one series. Furthermore, several bonus features focus on the likes of Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and Vandal Savage, which seems appropriate given that said crossover served as a backdoor pilot for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
