Xuxa in Xuxa Gêmeas (2006)

Trivia

Xuxa Gêmeas

Edit
Elizabeth's character is inspired by Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada (2006).
A contest was promoted at Domingão do Faustão (1989) to cast a stunt double for Xuxa's twin scenes. Several lookalikes joined and at least one of them had performed as a Xuxa cover in the past. She was turned down for lying about her age. Winner Isabele Fintelman stands in as the twins in this film.
Second collaboration between writer Patricya Travassos and Xuxa after her box office success Lua de Cristal (1990).
The idea of Xuxa portraying twin sisters in film originally came up in the 90s, co-starring Fábio Jr.. George Lucas was considered to direct, while his company Industrial Light & Magic would helm effects required to put the twins on screen. Production was supposed to be set at Mexico. Another idea that spent years in development hell before being finally produced was "Xuxa Kid", which became Xuxa Meneghel in a Little Girl's Dream (2007).
Xuxa reportedly had difficulties portraying the evil twin.
