Summaries

  • Advertising executive Trey Mitchell regularly works late and dines with his ex. That makes his wife Leeza so suspicious she hires a P.I., ex-cop Ethan Woods. But he has a dark past and intends to eliminate Trey by any means and make Leeza his. Dirty tricks and even murdering an observant neighbor fabricate enough proof to break up the couple, but they get back together as darling son Dylan deserves. Ethan now hires a junkie to stab Trey to death, but that backfires. His surveillance equipment is discovered, but he escapes and makes his last move.—KGF Vissers
  • In Philadelphia, restaurant critic Leeza Mitchell and ad man Trey Mitchell have been married for ten years, with a nine year old son, Dylan Mitchell. They have been a relatively happy ten years beyond some regular work stresses, especially as Trey often works late to further his career. But that all changed for Leeza two months ago when Trey's ex-girlfriend, Jeanette Halston, reentered his life, hiring his ad firm to work on a campaign for her fashion house. Leeza suspects that Trey and Jeanette are having an affair based on circumstantial evidence, including Trey being evasive in answering questions around his work and why Jeanette seems to be the only client that calls late at night. On advice from her best friend Sacha based on the positive experience of another friend in a similar situation in doing so, Leeza hires a private investigator named Ethan Woods to find evidence of the affair, he who she believes is the same P.I. that Sacha's friend hired. As Ethan goes about his work and finds other evidence to support Leeza's suspicions about Trey and Jeanette, Leeza is unaware that Ethan is working on his own agenda, the result of a personal situation from his past. That agenda could place Leeza's family in danger without her even knowing it.—Huggo
