Ryan Clark aka Whippet was in Home & Away for years as a child who was always surfing. Rodney Kerr aka Kerrbox was his off screen surfing coach for the show.
Ryan Clark alias Wippet have played a part in "Our Lips Are Sealed" (2001) with Olsen Twins when he was just a child.
This show became more popular recently due to the COVID-19 Pandemic as viewers found the show more addicting to watch. This show influenced more people to take up careers as lifeguards.
Fan favorite Jesse Polock was forced to quit the show at the end of Season 14 after his drug possession charge for use of ketamine and cocaine. His lawyer thought it was the best thing to do to keep the shows reputation in tact. Producers have told him he is allowed to come back whenever he feels he is ready.
According to the show, the two busiest days are Christmas Day and New Years Day and the most rescues done in one day is 263.
