Beware the Moon: Remembering 'An American Werewolf in London' (2009)

Trivia

Beware the Moon: Remembering 'An American Werewolf in London'

Edit
Director Paul Davis had the inspiration to make the documentary while writing the Retrospective article on American Werewolf in issue 5 of HorrorHound magazine.
Rik Mayall was approached to take part in the documentary but kindly turned down the offer stating that he didn't remember much at all about being in the movie.
As a special feature in the two disc "Full Moon" edition of An American Werewolf in London (1981), this documentary has a run time almost exactly the length of the movie itself - actually beating it by a full ten seconds.
American Werewolf In London was the first horror movie the director ever saw back in 1984. His parents taped it from the BBC television premier the night before.
Other members of the cast and crew who have been located by the director, but are not taking part for reasons beyond their control include Ray Freeborn (Location Manager), John Poyner (Sound Editor) and Paul Kember (Sgt. McManus).
