Early in the film when Kevin and Benny are staring at Nikki Swayze, Benny does similar face motions involving his lips that mirror what Smokey did from Friday (1995), when him and Craig stare at Debbie while she is jogging. Ice Cube (Mr. Washington) starred as Craig and co-created the 'Friday' franchise. Like Chris Tucker, Brandon T. Jackson improvised many of his lines in this film.
