Each cartoon series has finished the story by which the series can be viewed in any order.
The first season of the animated series was created from late 2005 to autumn 2006. Creation technology - 2D computer animation. The first season was broadcast from September 1, 2006 to January 26, 2007. The number of series - 80.
Studio "Mill" continued to work on the animated series and from late 2006 to summer 2007, the second season of the animated series was produced and the broadcast began on June 4, 2007, and ended on October 26, 2007. The production technology is the same (2D computer animation). Number of episodes - 50.
On February 28, 2015, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev presented the 2014 Government Cultural Awards. Among those awarded are: producer Aleksandr Boyarskiy, directors Darina Schmidt and Elena Galdobina, author of the literary concept Anna Sarantseva for creating an animated series for children "Luntik and his friends".
Under the brand "Luntik" produced a variety of goods: toys, printed materials, clothing, food, computer and mobile games.
