The Ping Pong Palace hosts two annual events: The Golden Cock Championship (in it's 15th year) and the Lil' Paddlers Tourney.
During an earlier scene, Christopher is playing the PlayStation 2 version of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007. It is the third game under the name and was developed by Yuke's and published by THQ in 2006.
The TV show that Wang is interviewed on throughout the movies is called "Eye on East Hills with Jon Howard." The actor playing Jon Howard bears a strong resemblance to Ron Howard, star of Happy Days (1974).
