The Ride Home

The script originally was a short story Christopher Jayawardena wrote for his friend's birthday in 2004. It was set in a futuristic world, where a salary man on his way home is possessed by a living electrical consciousness and fights off some villainous characters on a subway train. When trying to decide on a short film to make in 2011, he decided to take the plot and put it in a contemporary suburban setting, trim down the inner monologue, but maintain the science fiction themes.
