With Molly and Elle's friendship left hanging in question, we start season 2 with Molly in London, England facing both her heartbreak from The One and her new endometriosis/adenomyosis diagnoses. Back in Toronto, Elle has found herself a member of Community, a retreat where she went to recoup after a nervous breakdown. What was meant to be a 2-week mental health break is now going on 5 months... and the fact that it is definitely a cult is clear to everyone but Elle. Meanwhile, the ambitious Jordan has been juggling the ad agency he and Elle had started on his own. But when a high-stakes client requires him to go retrieve Elle he finds a very different version of his old workaholic/party-girl friend. In the meantime, Molly returns to Toronto and must learn how to ask for help to receive the surgery and support that she needs and Elle feels like everyone who ever loved her in the real world has abandoned her, and turns all of her co-dependant tendencies to Community. As Molly and Elle navigate their unseen illnesses and their paths continue to diverge, a permanent friendship breakup seems inevitable. or could their paths to self-discovery bring them back together? https://www.avocadotoasttheseries.com

    INCREDIBLE

    This show is amazing. Everything about it is so incredibly well done. I watched it all in one sitting, laughed out loud so many times I lost count and was deeply moved as well. WATCH. THIS. SHOW.

    HILARIOUS, BRILLIANT AND TOTALLY BINGE-WORTHY!

    I binge-watched all 10 episodes and absolutely LOVED them! The two main character's Elle (Perrie Voss) and Molly (Heidi Lynch) have a relationship dynamic that is so funny and on point for being best-friends. The show is witty, hilarious and dramatic as well as heart-breaking at points and is pulled off brilliantly by the phenomenal cast! They couldn't have cast this series better! The sub stories going on pair beautifully with the main story line and the bar scenes with Kristian Bruun (Jake) and Nelu Handa (Rosie) had me laughing every-time. Phenomenally done and would so love to see a season 2!

    Fast Paced and Fun

    There's a lot of information flying at you in Avo Toast, a challenge for sure, for any series. But all the info and chaotic events are expertly delivered to you by a strong and delightful cast, so it never feels like a summary. Great locations, special mention to the cast playing the parents who were delightful and funny without making charicatures of their age group.

    Worth the shot.

    It starts off slow but the story finally kicks up momentum. The characters in itself are interesting and yet symbiotic. I love the welding Mom who is a definite sexy character. Although the main characters try to become less of their parents only to exactly resemble them. It's great entertainment. The content is thick and honestly are they going to hook up or not? It's cute, funny, and worth watching.
