One Moment

One Moment is a heartwarming film about an unforgettable family. Everyone can relate in some way to the issues this family is dealing with. One Moment addresses the bittersweet topic of loss in a loving way, with the perfect amount of comedic flair. I absolutely adored this movie. Danny Aiello was superb in his last role!

This movie was exceptional - I laughed so hard. I cried so hard . This is a story that needed to be told as so many people are going through this. Danny Aiello put on an award acting role... I could watch this move a thousand times... Top of my list of all time favorites.

I guess I'm the only person here who thought that all the acting - apart from Danny Aiello, who was adequate - was wooden, hollow and unconvincing. I felt like I was watching extras doing a run-through before the real actors came to work. Characters were stereotypes (gay daughter, failure daughter, clueless son, ignorant, phone-addicted teen with no discretion), and there was no energy among the cast. Throughout I kept re-casting the film in my head, trying to imagine if the script was good enough that excellent actors could have made it work. Nope. It's predictable; no dramatic arc, contrived.

Of humour over good old susbenders dementialated construtions, a role that mr aiello take to the limit. Surprised how old he's become he is doing an awesome kick her,with a cast that consists of many tvseriestars, and they do not crap around like houndogers, and play their parts very well. Its just that the story is so unoriginal and worn out over the years, and the budget lowers the production quality so just dont blame the actors cause they do well.

A smile here and a giggle there made the grumpy old man watch till the end, its nice but not a blockbuster.

This incredible movie deals with many issues families are going through. The humor reminded me of how hilarious Irish families are, especially when it comes to making fun of their parents! The witty dialogue softens the heart breaking drama of dealing with dementia. I can't wait to watch it again!
