I am currently re-watching this as I write this review, so it's hard to write with a left hand. Absolutely a masterpiece in cinema, I dropped my sloppy joe thinking about this film.
Anyone who rated this lower than a 10 is not a Shrek fan. The fact that this is sitting at a 7.8 currently on here is one of the world's greatest tragedies. I hope those that rated this less than a 10, 10 year of bad luck. Be ashamed. I had to make this over 300 more characters so here I am making more sentences before my review is done. Once again, anyone that rates this lower than a 10 is a shame to the Shrek community. How dare you do SHREK DIRTY LIKE THIS, HOW FKN DARE YOU. AAAAHHHHHHH. Anyways the last thing I have to say is this and it follows as such and whoever read all this is a true Shrek fan. Give yourself a hug and think about Shrek giving a warm embrace.
Very few movies can live up to the standard this has set. It is absolutely iconic, a modern classic. The story is beautiful, emotional, and powerful, and the acting accompanies it perfectly. A must watch for fans of cinema.
Shrek is love shrek is life is arguelig the greatest movie of all time. The acting is amazing and the narators voice is iconic. The fact that this art has not won a oscar is a disgrace. This is not just a great edited movie, its a heartbreaking movie with a beautiful story. I cried a lot when watching shrek for the 100th time.
