Summaries

  • In 1990, at the dawn of the political events that changed the map of Europe, a little girl, in the Eastern Block, waits impatiently for the return of her mother, from a secret space mission. Or, that's what her father tells her - .
  • "My mother is a cosmonaut" unfolds the story of a family separated during the Cold War and the reminiscens of its consequences today. It mirrors the vital issues overlooked through time after the fall of Communism. While the Berlin Wall has fallen 30 years ago, other invisible walls hide what is supposed to be an ongoing conflict in the new world order, the struggle for power between those who once held the secrets of everyone with those who willingly-or-not have been contributing to the Communist regime and its demise. It explores, indirectly, the origin of today's conflict between Western politics and the one of Autocracies (ex communist countries) lead by ex-KGB (or similar agencies). The film is an homage to those who found themselves between these two worlds, the before and after the end of Cold War.—Andy Deliana
