This is a great Indie horror film, it feels like, V/H/S with the anthology format. Also reminds me of The Blair witch project with the shot on video style of the stories. This film is a lot of fun it's definitely better to see it at home, alone or with friends, maybe even in a old art house movie theater. No matter how you see this movie it's worth a watch for sure,
For such a low budget movie what the filmmakers were able to do was pretty amazing.
Five morbid stories to keep you on the edge of your seat. Candy just broke up with her boyfriend and decides her house is too creepy to stay in now. She packs up herself and her two doggie companions up and leaves the house only to hear a radio broadcast that the US is being attacked and the undead are roaming around. She proceeds with her roadtrip nontheless. In and out of her journey we get to see what else is happening in other parts of the country with short vignettes which are creepy and spooky to say the least. They involve friends playing with a Ouija board when one of them gets possessed, strangers who have an accident on the road and invade the home of innocent citizens who are unaware they are actually zombies, and my favorite, a sequestered writer staying at a very creepy cabin deep in the woods. All the segments are well written and full of gooey blood and gore. I particularly liked the performance of the writer but overall good direction and action. Enjoyed the diversity of these told from different perspectives during an apocalypse. Nice wraparound and twist as well as Candy finds out what happened to her boyfriend. Will hit the spot for most horror fans. Anthologies are great and this one is a must see.

This movie will be remembered because of the originality shown in the scripts and the never fallen rythm of the tense in each one, which takes the stories into blowing-mind endings.
If you have ever watched a horror independent movie, you will probably know that if it is a multi story film, some will be boring and some not.
The great achievement of Morbid Stories is the homogenization of quality, making all interesting and forceful.
The Directors are very efficient and you can see this in the final performances of actors, who carry with the very difficult task of make their character believable in a extremely difficult genre.
Their work is great and we can fully enjoy the situations that the characters have to live.
All this makes the stories success in its task of scaring us and worrying us.
Highly recommendable

All good reviews are obviously from family and friends of the film makers. Lousy stories and horrible acting. I think the budget was $40.00. Avoid at all costs.
