So this episode slows things way down compared to the opening one. However it feels like there's a lot of important characters, and plot points, introduced during it.
The group of friends Ava makes continue to be the weakest link, so far. Ava experiencing the world for the first time is nice though, and Baptista plays her with such pure joy that it's hard to moan about the lack of action.
The introduction of ArcTech and science vs faith angle is an interesting one. Hard to know exactly what's going on there, and how it will all tie in with the OCS and Ava in future episodes, but there's definitely a lot of world building happening in this episode, and at least it's interesting.

The pace is still slow, though understandably so. It is only the second episode, after all, and only the second day after our MC got her life back. So it only makes sense that the majority of the episode revolves around Ava just trying to live her life which doesn't serve much to the main storyline of Warrior Nun, yet. There wasn't a lot of interesting things in the first half, but when we get to the second half (which is when they attended the ArqTech party), things started to get more interesting. We get introduced to these sort of antagonist characters - Jillian Salvius and Kristian Schafer - whose interests might harm the church. The party introduced the main conflict, connected Ava with the OCS, and exposed her to the OCS as well as Arqtech which furthers the conflict.
So, don't let the slow start put you off. Have some patience because this episode consists of a nice build-up the story needed. And we got to see some action too! Still not much but it was fun. All in all a pretty solid episode for me. Not their best episode by far, but the pacing makes sense to me, so I won't be too harsh. Another episode that managed to build up more excitement for the next ones!

Episode two continues building the storyline, establishing motives, and introducing characters. But feels a bit lackluster with little to no action and a general lack of chemistry. Acting is a bit stiff, but good cinematography.
With all the money and preparation spent on this series - beautifully lighted and gorgeous sets - you'd think they would have more thoughtfully cast the main character. Think of a dark, demonic entity being fought by beautiful, strong warrior nuns and then drop silly Gidget Gets the Halo right into it. I wonder if anybody who has been a quadriplegic for 12 years, wheelchair bound, spoon fed, living with harsh nuns would be suddenly ready for wheeling and dancing in the Spanish discos? Yes, she has the improved body but the mental attitude is bizarre.
I'll give it one more shot but I have to say I don't hold much hope.

Sadly, the story fails to blossom after a promising first episode. Episode 2 is the worst episode of the entire season. They are trying to show Ava's desire to experience life but the "girl meets boy" story that continues from the first episode is dull and the " squatter friends" story line falls flat again and again. You can skip this episode and not miss any story and you won't have to want that 50 minutes of your life back.
Despite the failure of this episode, I do recommend the series as a whole. It's still getting it's legs under it at this point.
