This film treads on an uncharted territory with its portrayal of the psychological evils hidden somewhere in the dark web, which in reality is a huge hub for illegal activities online.
The story of the film is about a group of 5 friends who plan their reunion in the dense forests of Western Ghats in Karnataka where they decide to go on a trek to Karadi Guhe. However things go wrong and the friends lose their way in the forest. Will they be able to come out of it, is what forms the rest of the plot.
The film has some promising aspects and holds the viewer's attention without deveating much into other things. The screenplay is quite gripping in the first half. In the 2nd half the story starts to become a little daunting, however the last 30 mins of this film introduces you to something you have seen before in Sandalwood. As the film nears the ending, it gets absolutely gripping and gives out an astounding climax which will almost haunt you psychologically!
The cinematography is excellent with the eerie look and feel of the forest, the aerial shots and night scenes captured impressively. The background score is also brilliant and adds tremendously to the thrill factor.
There are a few negatives in the film as well, like there are way too many English dialogues and the director could have toned down the its usage.The acting by some of the actors also could have been better.
To sum it up, this film is a unique attempt with a brilliant psychological aspect to it. The few minor flaws can be ignored easily. All the Experimental cinema buffs out there, you should not miss this one!
