When Yuichi saw the swordsmen in the park before, they're practising with fake swords and pretend dying. In his dream, they have no swords but they pretend as if they were using real swords and die for real. It's a metaphore of Yuichi's job and the impact of fake attitudes in society. Yuichi is a fake sword who make people keep going in life even if they know it is fake. But if there is no pretending, people can't stand reality and would give up like dying swordsmen without any actual sword wound.
