Magician Shunil Tarafdar leaves everyone amazed by presenting the wonder boy Noyon to all the audience. Four men become interested in the wonder boy and decide to visit Tarafdar's home. Meanwhile, someone tries to hunt down Noyon.
Feluda decides to accompany Shunil Tarafdar and Noyon while they travel to Chittagong for a show, in order to protect Noyon. Eventually, they realize that the four men who were interested in Noyon have also followed them to Chittagong.
The mystery gets even deeper when Noyon is nowhere to be found and Hinguwani has been murdered. Is there a connection between both of the incidents? The criminal behind all of this is a cunning man who succeeded to outsmart Feluda's doubt.
