Mari is an AI assigned to assist scientists Dr Ryan and Dr Ellen on a breakthrough experiment that aims to capture real evidence of life after death. Mari is desperate to learn what makes her so different from her human colleagues. She can't understand how her thoughts and newly discovered feelings are not equal to a "real" human's. With naivety the three begin the experiment, but little do they know just how much could be lost, more than any human or robot could possibly imagine.
