Jurors in Donald Trump’s hush money trial heard testimony on Tuesday from the architect of a notorious “catch-and-kill” scheme that buried damaging stories about the former president in the run-up to the 2016 election: former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker.

During his testimony on Tuesday, Pecker lifted the veil on the National Enquirer’s catch-and-kill arrangement with the Trump campaign and revealed just how involved Trump and his fixer, Michael Cohen, were in dictating the publication’s 2016 campaign coverage.

Besides the lead guitarist for the biggest act in showbiz history, it boasted players and a producer who each made an impact on the course of modern music. Ahead of the 50th=anniversary reissue of George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass, Capitol and UMe have shared the first unreleased track from the collection, the acoustic demo “Cosmic Empire.”

Prior to the 1970 album’s six-week recording sessions, Harrison spent two days — May 26th and 27th, 1970 — demoing 30 songs at Studio Three at Emi Studios Abbey Road in London. You wouldn't know it from the film's lack of marketing, but a new movie called Black or White debuted in theaters today. Despite the presence of stars Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer, I've never seen a trailer or TV spot for the movie, which BoxOfficeMojo says is in over 1,000 theaters right now. (Apparently the film played at last year's Toronto International Film Festival and didn't receive very favorable reviews.) I don't ever plan on watching this film, but that doesn't mean that I can't come up with a tangentially-related article about it. Black or White got me thinking: what other movies share a title with a Michael Jackson song?

The new J.J. Abrams film Super 8 opens this week, and it stars Kyle Chandler as a small town sheriff who has to cope with mysterious happenings and inexplicable events that could foretell an alien invasion, or worse ... the end of the world.
