Nice, feel good movie with nice ending. A serious subject treated with right amount of sensitivity. All actors are good with good screen presence. It's a plus one that the movie doesn't become too serious at any point of time, maintaining the lighthearted tone throughout. Need more support and encouragement for such movies to be made more often.
This is worth watching and has great story/scripted movie
Badnaam Gali is a drama film directed by Ashwin Shetty. The film stars Patralekha Paul, Divyendu Sharma, Dolly Ahluwalia and Paritosh Sand.
Noyonika, a single pregnant woman meets Randeep who initially judges her. But when he finds out she is a surrogate mother he stops judging her and develops a strong bond with her.
One of the most underrated film of Hindi cinema and such film should be more and more discussed and highlighted. The film takes on an important subject of surrogacy in a comic yet effective way, the film may falter in the end with a typical bollywood formula of a safe ending but still the film manages to impress.
The plot of the film is good and execution is superb, the film depicts the tale of a girl who is often ridiculed and shames by the society and neighborhood because of her lifestyle the way she carries herself and mainly because she is an unwed mother. One day a boy enters in the same society and has the same feelings for the girl but does his feelings changes for the girl? Who is the father of the unborn baby? Does the perspective of the society changes? To get to know all this you've to watch the film.
The screenplay of the film is gripping and will keep you glued, the comic scenes works in the favor of the film. The climax disappoints a little as it seems that the director was in a hurry to end the film and with a little elaborated climax the film could've been little more impressive.
Acting in the film is superb and both Patralekha and Divyendu were very impressive, Divyendu deserves more recognition in Hindi cinema. Support characters were also very impressive.
One of the most underrated and entertaining film. A must watch.

Loved the movie, perfect representation of the today's society. Every cast member acted so well that it connects you. And how can we bring change in the society by not judging A BOOK BY ITS COVER, will make a great difference. Last scene, it tells everything about you, if you don't change.
The Movie Starts with Divyendu Sharma.Showing how short tempered he is and doesn't endure any injustice. The actors have done a commendable job.If you are a Mirzapur fan you have a surprise. Some minor details and subplots could have improved. But overall It's a new thing
