Just an all-around weak effort. I think I only chuckled pert near three or four times and never came close to a full on laugh. Seems like they're trying way too hard and getting way too redundant with their joke repetition.
Watching three guys trying to do an advice show when they have no concept of how things work, just doesn't do it. All they did was pretend they had never watched a TV or listened to a radio show. Not worth five minutes let alone thirty.
For 6 seasons Letterkenny stuck pretty closely with a tight formula. Familar locations, camera angles, and lighting with rapid fire witty dialogue. From the opening shot it was clear they've tried to build a better mousetrap and the result is garbage. Like a hamfisted satire reinvention. I'm reminded of when Scrubs left NBC and reinvented itself. The results here on letterkenny are the same. The characters they've spent years developing are now 2 dimensional versions of themselves and just thrown together in a poor attempt at laughs that never pay off. Is Oct 13th the Canadian April fools day? I can't understand how you can get something right for so long then everything up so spectacularly. I hope very soon they drop season 8 where it turns out this whole season was a ridiculous dream so we can get back to dolly shots in front of the produce stand. Serious Jared and Dalesy, figger I oot.
