Mission Over Mars

Really nice series which everyone should definitely watch. No unnecessary drama as was shown in the film. Mission mangal film was a complete flop out of sync movie. Technicalities were not shown in the movie but in this series each small point is taken care of. Movie was full of drama queens and street dualogues but in this series no unnecessary scenes instead they focussed on the real issues ISRO faced. Everyone acted superb in this series. Outstanding performance by the four ladies in this series unlike fake acting in the movie. I was too much dissapointed with the movie which was like a comic film but this series was to the point which made it an outstanding series. Thanks Alt Balaji and Zee5.

The serials aired in Dooradarshan in comparison to the soaps that aired in today's channels were quite ahead of its time, considering the content and talent involved in creating it. Unfortunately it was disrupted and went into ruin and the credit for it should be given to Ekta Kapoor. When she started ALT Balaji i had similar apprehension in watching its shows. To my surprise ALT Balaji produced, Mission Over Mars is quite an engaging watch and i would rate it better than its cinematic counterpart, Mission Mangal, which was more about kitchen politics rather than disclosing the technical aspects of the mission. Even though the trademark of an Ekta Kapoor serial is seen in small doses but it can be written off over the way in which the entire serial is presented & the credit for it should be given to its director, Vinay Waikul, who rather resorting on cliches worked succeeded in showcasing the scientific and technical aspects of the mission. In terms of performance, among the four protagonist the veteran Sakshi Tanwar made the most of out of the role. The only negative aspect of the series was the parts involving Mona Singh and her family which made it the most irritating aspect of the series. Among the supporting actors Ashish Vidyarthi was a surprise and was quite unusual to see him enact a positive roles as in the past he has mainly acted in the villainous roles.

On the whole it is a well produced series and can be watched over its cinematic counterpart which was possible due to the performance of its actors and its effective direction.

In this day and age, where everyone in broadcast media sounds like a doomsday prophet, along comes a series that champions Innovation and Jugaad.

Terrific webseries !! Very well Directed by Vinay Waikul (THE TEST CASE Fame ) show never loose it's grip throughout. Waikul has done an excellent job in writing the script with Sambit mishra. Screenplay is very realistic and believable. It tells you the story four women scientists in their Mission over Mars and their lives and problems they face in day to life. All actors have performed beautifully, specially Sakshi Tanwar, Mona Sing and Ashish Vidyarthi. Other cast is also very good. Lot credit goes to Ekta Kapoor as a creator of this show. Once again she has shown us that she can create shows like 'The test case' and 'Bose'. Cinematography is top notch as well as editing. This webseries has came within a month of release of 'MISSON MANGAL'. And yet this show has managed to surpass Akshay Kumar movie by a good margin. Go watch this .. you will love it !!

I watched 1st episode of the series without and expectations but surprisingly I was hooked from the 1st minute. A must watch series made on superb efforts of India space scientists.
