Tingle Monsters

This short film takes a brilliant concept - an ASMR recording with an intruder- and adds a meta layer of internet menace that takes this to the next level. Searing, insightful, scary as hell.

I've never been fully immersed in the huge phenomenon of ASMR, but I experienced enough to be chilled by this piece. Lovely direction, acting, and of course, sound design. Alexandra Serio and Kareem Rahma are ones to watch.

This is filmmaking at it's finest. I sat stunned for several minutes in a crowded theater when I first watched this. The collective inhalation of breath from the audience when the story reveals itself was incredible. Not only does this leave you feeling creeped out, and stressed, but also it reveals the dark, sinister underbelly that we take for granted every day. A complete film from a powerhouse filmmaker. Concept, writing, and performance are all a 10. Watch this and pray that we see more from this filmmaker ASAP!

I watched this short film at The Berlin Final Girls Film in 2020. You could feel the tension in the room. A horrifying commentary on online harassment.

Spooky, great performance and also raises very timely issues about how women (and people in general) are treated in the anonymous world of the internet and social media. Definitely one to watch!
