The film takes place in December 2021.
Roxanne Guinoo was initially tapped to play the female lead role. But director Mark A. Reyes said the hectic schedule of the young star could hamper the production. Roxanne is doing a daily Wowowee (2005) hosting and is set to do a TV remake of Natutulog ba ang diyos? (2007).
Angelica Panganiban was earlier tapped to appear as one of the leading ladies. But her busy schedule forced the production to drop her. She was replaced by Iya Villania-Arellano.
