    Wonderful documentary

This film showcased the captivating journey of three immensely gifted classical music prodigies (in their respective fields) connecting and collaborating online! Their exceptional talents united to deliver an outstanding online performance leaving an enduring impact on the audience. Witnessing their artistic brilliance and passionate dedication unfold on screen inspired and uplifted me. It was a great reminder how music AND the internet can really bring the world together. A must-watch for all music lovers seeking moving performances and a testament to the transcendent power of music and collaboration! Hopefully there will more of this in the future.

    Inspiring

This unique film is beautifully written and captivating. Watching the dedication and passion these young, incredibly talented musicians have is not only inspiring, but uplifting. I enjoyed the insight into the outside, as well as personal, obstacles the three prodigies must overcome and the glimpse into the world of musicians that viewers might not otherwise experience. I hope to see more projects of this caliber in the future in our ever evolving world of technology and music. The direction, music, and cinematography in this film are beautifully executed and it wholeheartedly left us wanting more.

    Not what I expected

I went into this with very little knowledge and left feeling something I didn't expect. At first it seems educational but the more you get into the story you realize it's about the world around them and not be able to control the world around you. I felt deeply for Rada's situation and was intrigued by the reactions of the others. Visually, everything is dark and moody and I enjoyed the cinematography. I would be curious to see more from these three. I am not musician but I really enjoy fine arts and classical music. I think if you any slight interest in music, relationships, and the sacrifices these young musicians make, give this a watch.

It takes you to places you'd don't expect in 50 minutes.

    Beautiful and Inspiring

Three musical prodigies make their way in the isolated world of classical music. Pressure, concerts, and practice forge these three kids into amazing performers. As a trio, they try to make it in the competitive world of concert performers. The highs and lows of their journey, from meltdowns to total joy, pulls the audience in. We want the years of study and practice to pay off with for these wonderful, relatable, young people. Loved the music, loved the film, loved the talented, inspiring young musicians. The cinematography is glorious and grand as we are taken through European concert venues, museums, and cathedrals. Then the director brings it close and intimate as we see the musicians' hands blur across the violin, cello, and piano. Interviews with the three stars, conductors, composers, and supporters let us peel back the curtain to a world of music that most of us would never otherwise experience. Remarkable.

    Very interesting premise

Hear Us follows three young musicians as they collaborate in person and across the world to prepare a piece of chamber music. As a classical musician, I really enjoyed an inner look into performance preparation and the pressure on young musicians. I found the balance of the film to be a bit off leaving the tension a little lack luster. There didn't seem to be any stakes besides the visa issues. It needed more background on their preparation for the Carnegie Hall performance. I would have loved a more in depth look into each musician. It would have also be great to see how they prepared a piece as an ensemble over the internet. I felt that piece to be glossed over.
