Saman arrived in Greece as a war refugee. He is one of the last members of the Yazidi tribe of North Iraq that has suffered a genocide. In Athens, he struggles to survive by doing the only thing he knows well, wrestling.

Saman has arrived in Greece as a war refugee. He is one of the last members of the Yazidi tribe of North Iraq that has suffered a genocide. In Athens he is struggling to survive by doing the only thing he knows well, wrestling. This is his last day, after his final fight in the low ranked wrestling league he will continue his journey to central Europe. But things are not going as expected.

Hoping for a better future, Saman, a displaced war refugee, flees to Athens. However, five years after the Yazidi genocide, he still lives in the city's dark underbelly. Having only his skills to survive, Saman eventually saves enough money to leave everything behind, especially the dirty world of underground boxing. But as he embarks on a challenging quest to reach central Europe, Saman is about to discover that some things never change: once a refugee, always a refugee.—Nick Riganas
