After season 1 series picks up speed. Highlights are Paula Jai Parker, LisaRaye, and Demetria. If only they would give LisaRaye a bigger role. Interesting drama with twists and turns. Some you see coming, and others you don't. Nice little soap opera-ish drama. Don't expect a masterpiece, but entertaining.
My first impression of the first few episodes was NOT good lol. I was very confused as to what exactly was going on, but about episode 4 it all started to come together and from there I couldn't stop watching! I'm ready for season 3!!!!!!!!!! Very good series, Lisa Raye was cut way too short, her acting is too superb to send her away so I hope she comes back in Season 3! Some of the acting is a bit poor, but all in all its a good show!
I liked it for about 15minutes and then thought that it was absolutely ridiculous. Poor acting and not engaging at all. I stopped watching 10minutes into the second episode. The plot seemed so enticing such a shame.
I really believe that all these 9/10, 10/10 ratings cuz this show is not that great!! The acting is the worst and considering this show is full of C-list actors, it should be better but I'll blame the director. This show seems like a bootleg of another show. Watch it if you're a fan of any of the actors or if you're just bored and want a few laughs
I have tried & tried again to sit thru the horrific scale of acting, especially factoring in most of these actors have been in memorable sitcoms and movies in the past, but OMG...I keep talking to myself, asking, "why am I wasting time I can never get back with these weak actors?" It's unbelievable how pitiful the acting is. I try to support black producers and directors when they get a chance to have a huge audience, but this just reminds me of most of Tyler Perry's projects...Quantity over Quality seems to be his goal. It's embarrassing and I have only acted once in my life, but in this series, it seems as though acting experience is not required- just grab somebody off the street & stick a camera in their face. The wigs/weaves, booty implants and cheap shoes are as if they had their cousin Fee Fee to hook them up and even the grammar is sad; example, "I had seen", "I ranned away", "why you ant tell me." Like I said, it's embarrassing. I have always loved to act, but never had the opportunity. And Oh No Way, please don't say I'm hating. On What? I am the 1st to vfcrepresent my our people.
