Ludwig NEVER called his "Moonlight Sonata" . . .

. . . "My greatest composition," as the misinformation specialists foisting off Peabody's Implausible History depict in Beethoven's namesake episode. When pressed for a favorite, Beethoven most often cited his Seventh Symphony, particularly the second movement in A Minor. Written as a frontal assault upon the compulsive liar and killer Napoleon, Symphony Number Seven premiered as a fundraiser for those grievously wounded on Bonaparte's killing fields. Napoleon held the title of the most hated demonic pretender of all time, a designation later wrested away by Adolf H. And still later by Don the Tramp. As for the Moonlight Sonata, Ludwig referred to this piano piece as "dinner music."

Even going by Peabody logic, it is a bit difficult to believe that the main characters could walk from Austria to New York in a matter of minutes.
