Genadeloos 2: Amber

Expecting nothing at the preview, because it was a very low budget action flick, i actually was surprised. For the most part the acting was acceptable to very well done. Ofcourse there were some people that shoul;d never make acting there dayjob, but for the most part it was descent and more. The plot is a real action plot like we have seen many times before. But it was well written and not too many plotholes ( i actually didn't find one) It keeps a nice pass and never got boring. It really is nothing special, but what makes it special is that it was filmed with an budget of about 500 euro. It is just an 80's action flick but made in The Netherlands in 2023. It's like they thought of the action scenes first and build the plot around it. Which actually works pretty well. Knowing the problems shooting due to covid it is actually very well done. If you are bored sometime and dont know what to watch, this is a nice option. It keeps you busy for about 2 hours. Then you can move on with your live. No deeper messages, nothing to learn. Just a good time.

It was strange.... i saw the movie by accident. Was not invited but was at the showing. They forgot to kick me out or something. Was a bit late so i missed the start and i did not see part 1. But it was not to difficult to understand. Just a bad guy, a good guy (girl in this movie) fighting it out. Good dialogue... good camerawork and decend acting. ( for the most part) A little bit of horror ( have no clue why) but it works great. I just enjoyed myself. Just some beer... just some laughs... popcorn would have been nice. If you see the poster... you just know what you are going to get. You like that? See this... you don't? Stay away. They just deliver what you expect... and did i really see JCVD in there?
