Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel in Life as We Know It (2010)

Trivia

Life as We Know It

Edit
Katherine Heigl campaigned to have Josh Duhamel cast as her co-star after the studio expressed doubts about his comedic ability.
Triplets played the baby, and they all starred in different scenes.
In real life, Katherine Heigl grew up with an adopted sister, and later adopted 2 daughters.
Messer is seen wearing a University of North Dakota "Sioux" shirt. Josh Duhamel is from North Dakota.
Triplets Alexis, Brooke and Brynn Clagett were chosen from a national casting call to play baby Sophie. According to their mother Erin Clagett, each child alternated who would play Sophie based on their personality and what was needed in the scene. For example, Brooke was able to follow direction better and would play Sophie for scenes were the baby needed to clap their hands or react a specific way, while Brynn was a more unpredictable in her reactions and Alexis was better suited for the crying and sleeping scenes.
