Continuity

The location where some scenes take place are confusing. It is not clearly mentioned whether it is Chennai or Nagercoil.
JD goes to jail and is supposed to be thrashed by goons who is instead thrashed by JD, he later speaks to Bhavani and gives him a warning causing the interval, after the interval JD is out of jail like he was never there.

Factual errors

In the film, two boys are found dead inside the Juvenile Prison. Police is shown to have come conduct the inquiry and takes John in custody for being a suspect. In case of death in a Juvenile Home, magistrate inquest is done, not police inquest.

Errors in geography

The film is supposedly set in Nagercoil for the entire second half. But John Durairaj goes and thrashes the goons in Chennai and comeback to Nagercoil in the same day.
