The play was so real I couldn't help but come to the internet to confirm if it actually happened in Kidi, the musician's life. All was in place. I also like that he used the medium to showcase a full album. Kudos 👍

If you're from Ghana then you already know the singer KiDi with his very sultry voice. This movie was released with his debut album also titled 'Sugar' and it actually has all the songs on his album in the movie. Movie is funny and very interesting. If you like KiDi then you'll love him after watching him in this movie. There are some very prominent actors that add to the movie. Bravo guys.

Beautiful, fun and adorable in so many ways! I totally enjoyed this movie. Great cast, good acting and awesome soundtrack. Very funny and also emotional in some parts. Absolutely loved it!

Look, to be honest, I didn't expect to enjoy this movie but after the 88 or so minutes I spent watching this, I must admit I was proved wrong. This is the first time a movie like this was made in Ghana, where the artist showcases a whole album through a movie. Kudos to Richie Mensah for writing this. The story is intriguing and keeps you glued to your seat once you start watching. It has a great cast led by the 'gyal dem sugar' himself, Kidi and other great actors and actresses. I really loved Cina Soul's performance and I think she should venture out and try acting aside her marvelous and blossoming singing career. Well enough of my ramblings, what I want to say is this movie is worth your time and overall it's just a great and amazing masterpiece.
