The hammy overacting and the screaming their lines like we are in a huge theater and their are no microphones is really annoying. Love the humor, everybody in this is funny or witty and talented in one way or another. I belly laughed a lot. They should pursue the love angle between abby and gil or why is their so many murders in new England?
A ridiculous, funny and short version of Murder She Wrote. If you looking for high brow entertainment, don't look here. But if you have sense of humor, want a quick laugh go for it. Is like a snow ball going down a hill...starts okay and then gets funnier as it goes in. Episode 4 is when Show starts to hit its stride
Well, you either hate it or love it. For me it's the latter.
As a hallmark mystery murder fan I loved it, the humor was pretty dark and vulgair.
Don't expect a real serious murder she wrote. The mysteries are too short, around 30 minutes each.
The biggest problem I had with this series, it was on QUIBI so every episode was about 10 minutes, it's really a shame, QUIBI has some pretty funny/decent series, but the cut-up into small pieces it just awful.
I do hope this series will get a second season (and from there we'll see if it deserves a third) on a service like Netflix or Amazon, with each mystery as one full episode increased from 30 minutes to around 45 minutes, like the original murder she wrote on which this satire is based.
Very silly humour and lots of cameos. If you like 30 Rock, Angie Tribeca and Murder She Wrote then this is for you.
This show was well written and just plain fun. I would really like to see more episodes written. In this format it would be hard to deep dive into all characters in twelve episodes. So this is not an in-depth show, yet they did manage to develop intriguing characters that could expand their relationships in future shows. Mapleworth Murders was a hilarious bright spot each day I watched.
