Worst Acting I've ever seen
WOW, I saw the IMDB rating of 7.9 and thought great, I'll have to give this a watch. I am currently 40 minutes into it and am blown away that this thing is rated above 3. The writing is boring and the acting is stilted and forced. It is a good thing I am bored silly and trying to avoid a more pressing task, that might be the only reason I get through this painfully bad movie.
Best ever
Only caught the final 15 minutes
But was an absolute roller coaster from start to finish
It keeps you on your toes throughout. Incredible acting all round, such raw emotions.
Sadly didn't get to see Mark Cuban in his ultimate acting role Might actually have to watch the whole thing.
Quote "the acting of these french actors is amazing. I can feel the culture washing off" from my friend OJ.
They truly splurged on this film hiring two security guards The French accents in this movie are spot on you will feel you have been transported into the home of the French royals You may need to use subtitles though.

You will need caffeine
5.4 stars.
Some have said the dialogue is bad, but that's not actually the problem, it's the people that are speaking the dialogue. It sounds similar to amateurish reciting of lines in a two-bit middle-school pageant. And the editing is horrendous, the cuts a few seconds too long, lingering on moments that are already past. Some scenes would dwell on meaningless actions like pacing, standing, or staring at walls. Watching this reminds me of teenager home movies, it's so bad. The angles were sometimes terrible, and the sets were drab. The castle interior scenes were obviously filmed in some random house, with dollar store ornaments on the walls and furniture.
The lead male cannot act, but the female is not too bad. I think she has a lot of promise, but with the low quality editing and bad directing, she couldn't bring life to 'Royal Runaways'. On the other hand, the only reason I stuck around was to watch her, because she's stunning. Unfortunately, the lighting and angles were so low quality, it was not flattering.
My advice is don't waste your time, or get a bowl of popcorn and a lot of caffeine and start laughing at this train wreck.

Nice story, but stilted dialog
Who doesn't love a story about a prince running away from his royal duties to work anonymously at a vineyard in the UNITED STATES? I know I do.
HOWEVER (and this is a big however), the dialog is so stilted, it's distracting. Really distracting. Did. I. Mention. It's. Really. Distracting.
I've seen the actors in other projects and they talk without stilt.(sp?)

Nothing Twisted About This Plot
The plot was completely transparent from start to finish with nary a twist. The dialog was stilted and unnatural at times. This was no where near as good as the 7.9 rating that caught my eye. There was some humor and the movie was reasonably enjoyable to watch if you don't expect more than the average Hallmark type movie delivers.
