    Mediocre

There are many twists and turns in this film. The first half is suspenseful and intriguing, but ultimately it all becomes a bit too contrived and convoluted and quite unbelievable as it goes on. It's too long and there are too many plotlines, so it kind of loses focus of the main one, which is a murder story. They should have just focussed on that and develop it more, because some of the characters and their motives could have been explored more and painted a little more creatively, because especially the bad guy was rather boilerplate.

    Career move(s)

Depending on your moral compass and your drive to succeed and your ambitions ... well you may be motivated to do certain things that others (in this case the viewers for example) may not look favorably upon ... The movie has quite the story and the pressure for the two leads to succeed ... but instead of working together to overcome evil, they are made or rather pit against each other.

Who's first and all that. How far would you go? Would you allow yourself to go beyond the law even though you are supposed to protect it? Do the ends justify the mean? And how mean can or should you be? Quite the intriguing and crazy story ... you may not agree with many (or any for that matter) actions ... you may not find a character you really root for ... but that does not make the movie any less interesting and sinister ...

    Good investigation thriller movie...!

THE BEAST (2019) THE fight between two detectives in solving serial murders... This movie has unique ending...

A murder case takes place that shook the nation, veteran detective, Han-Su, begins investigating the case and does whatever necessary to catch the culprit, along with his junior detective, Jong-Chan.

In the midst of the ongoing investigation, the drug-broker, Chun-Bae, gives Han-Su a definitive clue involving the murder case, in return for covering her relation to a murder.

Han-Su's rival cop, Min-Tae, smells something fishy, and the investigation starts to take a wrong turn.

    Must watch investigation thriller..!

Korean movies are boring and overrated

Korean movies are boring and overrated, they take themselve too serious and are filled with artsy fartsy Nonsense. The Beast aka Biseuteo is maybe not so artsy fartsy like other K-movies,, but it is a boring confusing and overlong mess trying to be a superstylish Intelligent cop/serial killer Thriller with many plot twists. There are many other flaws and like I said before the storyline is confusing. Not Recommended.
