An Unforgettable Tale of Misery & Hope!

Everything in this picturesque piece of cinematic art is just perfect! Whether it is the heart touching story or the outstanding performances of all the actors, Cilantro's Picnic has achieved its objectives! Kudos to the writer-director Mr. Abhijeet Saha who has added a beautiful artistic quill into the great wing of Indian Cinema! Nicely photographed, sharply edited and well, the music is so deep! A must watch film!

A saga of despair and short-lived happiness!

Set in the idyllic backdrop of Rajasthani terrain in India, the film explores the struggles of a father to provide for his family. Beautifully crafted scenes in and around the picturesque cities of Rajasthan. India's countryside storytelling and setup reminded me of the late 1980s and early 1990s TV shows such as Lekhu, Potli Baba Ki and the likes. Excellent directing and editing by the film crew. The actors too did their part very aptly. Excellent stuff. More of such content should find its way into mainstream cinema platforms. I am sure the screenwriter and director will make many more exciting films in the future!!
