Anna of the North is an Oslo based Norwegian artist whose unmistakable vocals can be recognized on tracks for artists like Tyler The Creator, Rejjie Snow, and Honne. She is back with a music video for her sugary new single "Thank Me Later." Bathed in a dreamy pastel color palette, Anna finds true love with a life-sized ice cream cone in the midst of creating mayhem for everyone around her. With the help of her costumed friends - her ice cream lover, a hot dog, two toilets, and a singing burger - she sabotages a dinner date so she can have a restaurant to herself. "Thank Me Later" is a track with an infectious chorus in which Anna voices her desire for a hook-up. The release of "Thank Me Later" comes on the heels of "Used To Be," a track that captures the familiar feeling of reminiscing on the simplicity of the past. Earlier in 2019, Anna also released "Leaning On Myself," a powerful pop track dedicated to self-love and independence.
