I learned a lot of fun facts about the two iconic films profiled, but the narration is so annoying! The narrator interrupts the interviews so often it makes it all feel disjointed.
This has so much potential but the way it's edited/narrated is like listening to someone with ADHD tell you a story. It jumps all over the place.
Backwards in time. Forwards in time. Person A starts a sentence. Narrator interrupts. Person B finishes the sentence. Clip from the movie. Back to person A.
It's nauseating.

I love the stories, but the editing makes it impossible to watch. Can't they let someone speak a sentence without being interrupted by edits or unnecessary comments from the narrator?! This would be bearable for a 5 minute YouTube video, if I absolutely had to watch it, but not for a 40 minute "documentary" series. Disappointing, I loved The Toys That Made Us.
I did enjoy all four of these entries and hope there are more to come. Agree with other reviewers that the narrator's method was irritating and misplaced for this type of documentary. And the cutaways were pretty lame and unnecessary. But the insider information was fascinating, and I especially liked the revisits to the locations at the end. Why on earth didn't they talk about the most iconic scene in Die Hard, the walking on broken glass? I kept waiting for it. Lots of interesting backstories makes this flawed documentary worth watching anyway.
Where is the other narrator? He was much better. The new narrator does not convey the humor of the scenes and speaks very fast. And it completely lost references to the rest of the series. A wasted universe.
