Irish Killer # 1 & #2

Edit

Summaries

  • The "Irish Killer" video has some similarities to that of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video, but this is completely original work between the Producer/Director, Honorable Brennan James Callan, Col. and the "Derby Boys Irish Band."
  • The "Irish Killer" video has some similarities to that of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video, but this is completely original work between the Producer/Director, Honorable Brennan James Callan, Col. and the "Derby Boys Irish Band," then the McClanahan Irish Dance School, and a revised version of the video substituted Ken McKiernan's vocals for "Irish Killer #2" which uses Rock and Roll singer Michael Stollaire. When the Irish dancers come down the walkway, that was a former slaughter house for the Fischer Packing Company and that is where pigs came down to be killed before processing their meat into packaged meats. It was symbolic for the transformation of the young lady attacked by the zombies.—Honorable Brennan James Callan Col.

Synopsis

  • Brennan Callan was positively impressed in the middle 1980s when Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video was aired on the brand new MTV. That video inspired Callan as had already been a professional cinematographer for years. When a film contest was announced in Louisville, KY, he gathered other members of the Kentuckiana Cinematography Club because they had worked together on earlier film projects.

The "Irish Killer" video has some similarities to that of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video, but this is completely original work between the Producer/Director, Honorable Brennan James Callan, Col. and the "Derby Boys Irish Band," then the McClanahan Irish Dance School, and a revised version of the video substituted Ken McKiernan's vocals for "Irish Killer2" which uses Rock & Roll singer Michael Stollaire.

As Brennan Callan is of Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh, and German heritage, he wanted to at least work with making an Irish dance school, an Irish rock band, and attempt to remake "Thriller" into "Irish Killer," but to avoid any copyright issues at the same time.

There were two versions of this film initially.

In August 2009, Brennan Callan's hard drive fell to the floor from a desk and the hard drive has never again worked. The film online is really the fifth version of the film, but this was copied from the original master videotape that did not have the end credits. The film really needs to have the end credits restored. Until that time, at least this profile helps take on that role. It is unfortunate as the names have been missing from the film since it was placed online. All cast/crew got earlier versions of the film that should have the end credits in place.

Over ten years have passed since the film was produced. In 2019, this profile is finally being entered, but the new end credits are not likely to be added this year. That is why this profile is important.
