    • Trivia
This film is an adaptation of the live action stage musical of the same name. Writer/director T.C. De Witt wrote the show in bed while recovering from a severe injury. The show was produced in the Summer of 2012 in Burlington, WI at the Malt House Theatre. The show and film's plot are nearly identical, though there are several changes from stage to screen. There is no Troll in bed hearing the story from Lily. There is no flashback to Scarlet and her Father. There are also many more songs.
