Spirits in the Storm is a 2019 Motion Picture Video Original Documentary Film that chronicles the strange and violent events that occurred at the Bellamy Bridge Historical Area, located Near Marianna in rural Northwest Florida. The bridge is the oldest in the State of Florida and is the site of many unexplained events that were witnessed and recorded since the early 1800s. Author and Expert of the Bellamy Bridge Dale Cox reveals the results of his historic and paranormal research at the foot of the Bellamy Bridge and the Chipola River where all took place. A Paranormal Group from Panama City, Florida, Emerald Coast Paranormal, introduce themselves and recount their stories and investigations along with help from local Historian Pam Fuqua. After these events are presented in this documentary, Hurricane Michael, a massive Category 5 Hurricane, heads toward the Bellamy Bridge and the homes of the residents of the cast members. The effects of this storm are captured during and after the storm with cast telling of their individual horrors along with a return trip to Bellamy Bridge. This documentary film takes place from 2014, when the first events were captured, to 2019 after Hurricane Michael subsided. This turn of events was an unexpected twist in this story and is fully explored in detail at all of the actual locations, many of which no longer exist. These include structures and buildings in Downtown Marianna, Florida, the last Antebellum Mansion built in the USA, the famous Russ House, known for "The Real Haunted Mansion", and the homes of the cast members in this film.
