I love the comedians being honored in this show and I love the comedians that are honoring them on stage but I can only imagine one thing that's worse than watching this show... and that's sitting in the audience for it. Comedians explaining why these other comedians are among the greatest is dull. And also another opportunity for people to toss around the cliche phrase of 'GOAT'. God I hope people drop that phrase soon.
Why in all the effing effs would you have Pete effing Davidson start off what should be a classy show honoring such trailblazing and brilliant comedians?! Absolutely one of the worst decisions ever made in the history of Netflix. Fast fwd to John Stewart and enjoy the show. Someone needs to lose their effing job for choosing Davidson.
On another note, the DJ MC was an annoying choice for this event and brought down the thoughtful tributes to these legends to a 90s MTV half-hour special level.
Garbage production but worthy attention for the nominees who will never go out of style.

Jon Stewart, John Mulaney, Chelsea Handler and Dave Chappelle honor George Carlin, Joan Rivers, Robin Williams and Richard Pryor.
4 of the the greatest. A good way to learn a little more about them.

A bunch of unfunny washed up comedians honoring four of the legends.
Why they got unfunny John Stewart to induct the great George Carlin is beyong me. He cant touch the genius of Carlin.
The host Pete Davidson is already yesterday's news and today's fish and chips paper.
John Mulanny -- who??? -- comes out in a powder blue suit that doesnt fit introducing Robin Williams. You beg God to bring on the clips because it's so hard to listen to this guy.
Then completely untalented Chelsea Handler does Joan Rivers. She can't hold a candle to her either. The woman is a not funny.
Jeff Ross comes out to tell us who else has died. He's got to be one of the last borst belt comics.
The Chappelle comes out to introduce Rihard Pryor. Again while Chappelle may be rosey right now, he cant hold a candle to Pryor.
I was pretty bored throughout except for the comedian clips.

This induction is really special for several reasons: I'm glad that Jon Stewart got to talk Carlin because that is always a joy to witness- I'm glad John Mulaney promoted and encouraged the same love and happiness that Robin Williams' comedy was wrought with- Chelsea Handler speaking truth and not making me roll my eyes was new for me and I enjoyed it very much, and I have never been happier to see Chappelle on stage surmising a man of true importance. If you love comedy and the history of comedy like I do, this is a treat. If you love seeing honest people lay down their pride in honor of the great figures that paved the way, then this is it. If you love Pete Davidson, well then maybe you'll like this special even more than I did.
